Patient update from Roundwell Medical Centre regarding OneNorwich Practices

On Monday 23rd October, the NHS Norfolk and Waveney Inegrated Care Board (ICB) and OneNorwich Practices issues a joint statement advising that OneNorwich Practices would close down at the end of 2023.

The partners at Roundwell Medical Centre were greatly disappointed to hear this news and understand that this news may cause concern for our patients and staff. We would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that we do not anticipate any disruption to our services due to this announcement.

Roundwell Medical Centre has been in communication with the ICE and understands that plans are being developed to identify alternative service providers to take on services that are currently delivered by OneNorwich Practices. The ICB and OneNorwich Practices are working hard to ensure that patient services are not disrupted during this challenging time.

OneNorwich Practices delivers the following commissioned services:

  • Norwich Practices Health Centre on Rouen Road.
  • the Norwich Walk-in Centre.
  • the Vulnerable Adults Services.
  • the Lymphoedema Service and Asthma in Schools pilot in Norwich and the surrounding areas and
  • Other targeted patient services on behalf of the Norwich Primary Care Network (PCN) area.

We have been advised that more information will be shared by the ICB when the alternative provision for OneNorwich Practice’s services has been confirmed, and we will update you as we learn more.
